HISTORY
Effector was born in 2004 as an original brand of Optical Tailor Cradle, an eyewear select shop founded in 1995. Cradle's representative, Mitsunori Natsume, has been thinking about the concept for many years, saying, "I would like to propose an original Japanese shop that combines fashion and individuality that can only be made by an eyewear select shop."
FEATURE
Taking their inspiration from the Beatnik, Rock 'n' Roll and aviator styles from across the '50s and '60s, before bringing them effortlessly up to date with modern twists and construction, the variations demonstrate the owners’ passion and enthusiasm for this period and its sartorial identity. The brand embraces unique shapes, bold color combinations, and avant-garde elements to create statement-making pieces that stand out from the crowd. Effector frames often feature architectural lines, geometric patterns, and intricate details, showcasing the brand's commitment to originality and artistic expression.
